Electronic Site Supervisor: to manage the on-site handling, structural hanging, low-voltage wiring, and integration of our high-value artistic creations. This role requires blending precise electronic engineering with the delicate care demanded by high-end artisanal interior design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delicate Installation: Oversee the structural mounting, assembly, and precise balancing of custom glass-and-metal chandeliers on-site.
- Circuitry Execution: Direct the termination of low-voltage LED drivers, complex wiring harnesses, and internal circuitry for custom fixtures.
- System Integration: Collaborate with client automation vendors to seamlessly map installations to smart home control grids.
- Testing & Calibrating: Execute load calculations, voltage drop assessments, and continuity troubleshooting to eliminate flickering or dimming failures.
- Blueprint Comprehension: Read and execute layout instructions using architectural ceiling plans (RCPs), MEP details, and AutoCAD electrical drawings.
- High-Value Inventory Management: Safeguard fragile hand blown glass objects and custom electronic parts upon delivery to active project zones.
- Stakeholder Relations: Coordinate actively with high-profile clients, interior designers, MEP contractors, and main site engineers.
- Technician Safety Leadership: Enforce rigorous daily site safety, electrical isolation practices, proper tool safety, and scratch-free assembly procedures.
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: 2–5 years of site installation management, ideally working with premium decorative lighting, architectural automation, or luxury interior fit-outs.
- Material Familiarity: Proven comfort managing projects that combine structural metalwork, delicate glass elements, and custom LED drivers.
- Technical Savvy: Strong understanding of Phase/0-10V dimming, protocol drivers, DMX addressing, and wiring diagnostics.
- Travel Flexibility: Openness to traveling across premier properties in India and international project spaces for installation phases.
- Polished Communication: Strong interpersonal traits necessary to maintain professional demeanor in front of boutique designers and luxury property owners.
