About the Role
BestPeers InfoSystem Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a talented and experienced Ruby on Rails (RoR) Developer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building scalable web applications, developing RESTful APIs, and delivering high-quality software solutions using Ruby on Rails.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Build secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Optimize application performance and database queries.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Contribute to the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails development.
- Strong proficiency in Ruby and the Rails framework.
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
- Good understanding of PostgreSQL or MySQL databases.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end integration.
- Experience with Git and version control workflows.
- Familiarity with MVC architecture and object-oriented programming principles.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Experience with RSpec or other testing frameworks is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of Redis, Sidekiq, or background job processing.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MCA, or a related field.
