Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in facade systems, including glazing, aluminium, UPVC, curtain walls, cladding, and related building envelope solutions. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, tender submissions, and project budgets while coordinating with vendors, design teams, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Estimation
● Prepare detailed cost estimates for facade works, including glazing, curtain walls, aluminium systems, UPVC systems, ACP cladding, and related components.
● Analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine project costs.
BOQ Preparation
● Develop and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on architectural, structural, and facade drawings.
● Perform quantity take-offs and material calculations accurately.
Quotation & Tender Management
● Prepare and submit commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documentation.
● Ensure competitive pricing while maintaining project profitability.
Material & Technical Analysis
● Evaluate material specifications such as DGU glass, laminated glass, tempered glass, aluminium profiles, ACP panels, steel components, and hardware.
● Recommend cost-effective solutions without compromising quality and performance.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination
● Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
● Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
Budgeting & Cost Control
● Support project teams in budget planning and cost monitoring.
● Assist in financial tracking and cost optimization throughout project execution.
Risk Assessment
● Identify potential cost risks, scope gaps, and commercial challenges.
● Propose mitigation measures and value-engineering solutions.
Required Skills
● Strong knowledge of facade systems, curtain walls, glazing, aluminium and UPVC systems, ACP cladding, and building envelope products.
● Expertise in quantity take-offs, rate analysis, cost estimation, and tender preparation.
● Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
● Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and facade drawings.
● Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
● Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, vendors, and project teams.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
● Additional certifications in Estimation, Quantity Surveying, or Project Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
● Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in facade estimation.
● Hands-on experience in glazing, aluminium systems, curtain walls, ACP cladding, and related facade products is mandatory.
Pay: Up to ₹70,000.00 per month
