Job Summary
Florence Public School, Mayur Vihar, is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced English Teacher to inspire students and develop their language, communication, reading, and writing skills. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, effective teaching methodologies, and a commitment to academic excellence and student development.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English Language and Literature to students as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching materials.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Conduct engaging classroom activities, discussions, and language enrichment programs.
- Assess student performance through tests, projects, and classroom participation.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and progress reports.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students for continuous improvement.
- Identify learning gaps and implement remedial measures where necessary.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication among students.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and discuss student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning and school activities.
- Contribute to school events, competitions, assemblies, and literary activities.
- Ensure discipline and maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in English with B.Ed. or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE school.
- Strong command of English grammar, literature, and communication skills.
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and academic documentation.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
- Passion for teaching and student development.
Work Schedule
Full-time, Monday to Saturday (as per school timings).
Compensation
Salary as per school norms and experience.
