Accountant manages financial records for power transmission or infrastructure companies, focusing on project billing, vendor payments, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include maintaining daily accounts, preparing financial statements, GST filing, and overseeing construction-related accounting using tools like Tally, ERP.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Day to Day Accounting Transactions
- Review Reconciliation and follow up of accounts payable & Accounts Receivables
- Tax Audit, Finalisation of accounts
- Filing of TDS Quarterly Returns
- Filing of GST returns, GSTR-1 and 3 B and monthly reconciliation of GST input with GSTR 2-A
- Filing of 9 & 9C for reconciliation of total turnover and purchases balance if any
- Reply to various GST notices and preparation of related GST workings
- RA bills Verification and recommending for payments time to time to the management
- Preparation of Creditors and debtors outstanding payments.
- Monthly Bank Reconciliation
- Checking the bills with relevant purchase orders, work order according to the bills received from technical team
- Checking labour bills, hire bills and purchase according to supporting for making the payment
- Look after the site accounts and follow up the site payments and correcting the data.
- Preparation of TDS statements such as statutory payments.
- Payroll monitoring
- Stock report for submitting Bankers for balancing limits i.e LCs & BGs
- Preparation and process of LC"s
- Preparation of Projected financial statements of Bank Loan purpose.
- Preparation of Age wise analysis reports of Vendors & Debtors
- Preparation of P & L A/c Quarterly, Half yearly, end of the year for monitoring
- Preparation of Financial Statements
- MIS Reports
- Maintain of Assets Register.
- Liaising with Statutory Auditors to get the audit completed
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: CA OR CMA.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in accounting, with experience in construction or power sectors being an advantage.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP-9, MS Office (especially Excel), and computerized accounting packages.
- Knowledge: Understanding of GST, TDS, and CERC (Central Electricity Regulatory Commission) regulations
Pay: From ₹100,000.00 per month
