About the Role
We are looking for an Associate Manager – Financial Reporting / Finance to drive financial reporting, accounting, and audit-related activities.
What you'll own:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely closure of books and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage general ledger reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, and accounting controls.
- Partner with business, finance, tax, and compliance teams to ensure accurate accounting treatment of transactions.
- Support statutory, internal, and regulatory audits and drive timely resolution of audit observations.
- Review accounting processes and identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
- Prepare management reports, financial analysis, and ad-hoc reporting for leadership teams.
- Hands-on experience in the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, including eliminations and consolidation adjustments, in accordance with Ind AS accounting standards.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and governance frameworks.
Who you are:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 5–8 years of experience in Financial Reporting, Accounting, or Controllership.
- Prior experience in a Fintech organization or Big 4 firm (Accounting/Audit practice).
- Strong understanding of Ind AS, financial statement preparation, and accounting controls.
- Hands-on experience with SAP (mandatory).
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting.
- Experience managing statutory and internal audits.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Ideal Candidate: A CA with a strong accounting and financial reporting foundation, preferably from Fintech or Big 4, who combines technical accounting expertise with hands-on SAP knowledge and strong Excel-based financial analysis capabilities.
