# Primavera P6 Scheduler / Planner — Ahmedabad
**Project-based, fast turnaround. Path to full-time. Ahmedabad-based candidates only.**
CPMDelta is a US project controls consultancy supporting public-sector construction programs in the New York area. We need a scheduler for baseline development, monthly updates, revisions, recovery scheduling, and time impact analysis in Primavera P6.
## How the work arrives — read this first
Not steady weekly hours. Work comes in bursts tied to owner submission deadlines. A typical engagement is **three to seven working days** of concentrated effort, at a few days' notice, and we need most of your working time during it. Between engagements there may be nothing for a week or two.
If you need predictable hours, this is the wrong role. If you can clear your schedule and deliver hard against a deadline, it pays well and it is steady over a year. As volume grows it converts to a full-time salaried position.
## What you'll do
- Build cost-loaded CPM baselines from an estimate, a WBS, and contract drawings — reconciled to the schedule of values to the penny
- Status monthly updates from submittal logs and marked-up prints; produce the variance, lookahead, and float reports
- Implement reviewer-directed revisions and produce the change evidence
- Model recovery and acceleration scenarios and quantify what each one recovers
- Build fragnets for delay events and measure critical path impact
- Run 14-point quality checks before anything is submitted
You build the schedules and exhibits. Sequencing decisions, narratives, and all client contact stay in-house.
## Requirements
- **3+ years hands-on Primavera P6** — you have built baselines and statused live schedules yourself
- You have built a cost-loaded baseline start to finish, and run at least one full update cycle
- Solid CPM fundamentals: float, constraints, calendars, data date, retained logic vs. progress override, out-of-sequence progress
- Comfortable working directly with XER files
- Can read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Written English good enough for deliverables reaching a US project owner
- Can clear three to five days at short notice
- **Ahmedabad-based** — periodic in-person working sessions
Preferred: civil engineering degree; exposure to delay analysis, TIA, or AACE Recommended Practices (we will train the right person).
## Terms
- Each engagement scoped in writing before it starts — deliverable, deadline, fee. You accept or decline.
- **₹[350] – ₹[500] per hour**, or fixed fee per deliverable. Higher for compressed turnaround.
- **[2–3]** hours of US Eastern overlap during engagements. No fixed hours otherwise.
- Paid within **[15]** days of acceptance
- Full-time conversion at **₹[45,000] – ₹[65,000] per month** as volume grows
**Declining an engagement costs nothing. Accepting one and missing the deadline ends the arrangement.**

2. Have you worked directly with XER files, or only inside the P6 interface?
3. What else are you committed to, and how fast could you clear three to five days? Honest beats optimistic.
