About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Environment Compliance Consultant to assist organizations in meeting environmental regulatory requirements and obtaining necessary environmental approvals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental laws, compliance frameworks, and sustainability practices, along with excellent client management and project coordination skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnvironmental Compliance & Regulatory Advisory
- Provide consultancy services related to environmental regulations and statutory compliance.
- Assist clients in obtaining environmental approvals, consents, and clearances from regulatory authorities.
- Guide clients on compliance requirements under environmental laws and regulations.
- Conduct compliance assessments and identify gaps in regulatory adherence.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and review environmental compliance documents, applications, reports, and submissions.
- Coordinate preparation of environmental management plans and compliance reports.
- Ensure timely filing of regulatory returns and statutory submissions.
Liaison & Coordination
- Coordinate with government departments, regulatory bodies, consultants, and clients.
- Facilitate environmental approvals, licenses, registrations, and renewals.
- Follow up with authorities regarding application status and compliance requirements.
Client Management
- Understand client requirements and provide suitable compliance solutions.
- Conduct client meetings and compliance consultations.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and support business growth initiatives.
Research & Regulatory Updates
- Monitor changes in environmental regulations, notifications, and policies.
- Provide regular updates and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support sustainability and ESG-related advisory projects when required.

Required Qualifications
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Environmental Engineering
- M.Sc. Environmental Science
- M.Sc. Environmental Management
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in Environmental Compliance, Environmental Consulting, or Regulatory Affairs.
- Experience working with environmental approvals and pollution control regulations is preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of environmental laws and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent documentation and report-writing skills.
- Knowledge of environmental management systems and sustainability practices.
- Strong communication and client-handling abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and compliance documentation tools.
