Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and Fresher or experienced Academic Counselor to guide students in selecting suitable courses and career paths. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a student-focused approach, and experience in counseling, student admissions, or business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic advising and support students in course selection based on their interests, qualifications, and career goals.
- Understand students’ requirements by asking the right questions and identifying their specific needs.
- Recommend suitable courses, programs, and solutions based on students’ requirements.
- Provide academic and career counseling to students and parents.
- Handle student inquiries through calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, and online platforms.
- Assist students throughout the admission and enrollment process.
- Manage admission documentation, follow-ups, and student enrollment.
- Achieve individual and team admission/enrollment targets.
- Stay updated on current educational trends, curricula, courses, and career opportunities.
- Collect and provide feedback regarding student needs, interests, concerns, and competitor activities.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective students and convert inquiries into admissions.
- Mentor, train, and support junior academic counselors when required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Student Counselor, Academic Counselor, BDE, Admission Counselor, or in a similar role (*_Fresher can also Apply_*).
- Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in academic counseling, student counseling, admissions, or career guidance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong student-handling and relationship-building skills.
- Good knowledge of educational programs, career opportunities, and admission processes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
