Job Summary
The Accounts & Finance Manager is responsible for managing all financial and accounting operations of the hotel, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, maintaining accurate financial records, controlling costs, managing cash flow, preparing financial reports, and supporting management with financial planning and decision-making.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management
- Oversee the hotel's daily accounting and financial operations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Ensure timely bank reconciliations and cash management.
- Develop and implement financial policies and internal controls.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Supervise vendor payments and maintain supplier reconciliations.
- Monitor guest, corporate, and travel agent receivables.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain debtor aging reports.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices and payment approvals.
Revenue & Cost Control
- Reconcile daily revenue reports with Front Office and POS systems.
- Monitor room revenue, F&B revenue, banquet revenue, and other operating income.
- Analyze departmental expenses and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Conduct regular audits to prevent revenue leakage.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory returns.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable financial regulations.
Payroll & Employee Benefits
- Verify monthly payroll, incentives, reimbursements, and statutory deductions.
- Ensure timely salary processing and compliance with labor laws.
Inventory & Asset Management
- Monitor inventory valuation and stock controls.
- Conduct periodic physical verification of inventory and fixed assets.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies and SOPs.
- Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare Daily Revenue Reports (DRR), Daily Flash Reports, P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Present financial performance reports to management.
- Provide financial analysis to support business decisions.
Team Management
- Lead and supervise the Accounts team.
- Train and mentor finance staff.
- Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting.
- MBA (Finance), CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 2–3 years in the hospitality industry.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of hotel accounting principles.
- Experience with hotel PMS and accounting software (IDS, Tally Prime, Opera, WinHMS, or similar).
- Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and statutory compliance.
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

- Timely preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Accuracy of financial records and reconciliations.

Working Conditions
- Full-time position with flexibility to work during month-end closings, audits, and peak business periods.
- Coordination with all hotel departments, auditors, banks, vendors, and government authorities.
Pay: ₹50,000.20 - ₹58,117.56 per month
