Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Plan, coordinate, and execute civil construction projects from start to completion.
- Prepare project schedules, timelines, manpower plans, and resource requirements.
- Ensure projects are completed within the approved timeline, scope, and specifications.
2. Site Management
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities and monitor overall site progress.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, contractors, and site teams.
- Resolve site-related technical and operational issues effectively.
3. Quality Control
- Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and coordinate testing of materials and workmanship.
- Identify and rectify quality issues to maintain project standards.
4. Cost & Budget Management
- Monitor project budgets, material usage, labour costs, and overall expenses.
- Control project costs and minimize material wastage and unnecessary expenses.
- Review work estimates, bills, measurements, and contractor payments.
5. Contractor & Vendor Management
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Monitor contractor performance, work quality, productivity, and timelines.
- Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and manpower at the site.
6. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with construction safety procedures, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Conduct regular site safety checks and ensure proper use of PPE.
- Coordinate with safety teams to identify and minimize site risks.
7. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
- Maintain project records, drawings, measurements, work orders, bills, and other documentation.
- Provide regular updates to management on project progress, costs, quality, risks, and delays.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in civil construction/project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, estimation, BOQ, and site execution.
- Good leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and deliver projects within deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant project/construction software; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
