Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction site activities to ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth project execution.
- Prepare daily progress reports, site documentation, and maintain accurate project records.
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Identify technical issues on-site and provide practical engineering solutions to minimise delays.
- Ensure efficient utilisation of manpower, equipment, and construction materials.
- Conduct site measurements, verify completed work, and assist with project planning and scheduling.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across the construction site.
- Support timely completion of projects while maintaining quality, budget, and safety objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Site Engineer in construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, site supervision, and quality control.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
- Willingness to relocate and work in the Maldives.
