About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and academically driven Senior Secondary Coordinator to lead the academic and operational activities of the Senior Secondary Section (Grades XI–XII). The ideal candidate will work closely with the Principal to ensure academic excellence, board examination success, competitive examination readiness, teacher development, and holistic student growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the academic and administrative activities of Grades XI–XII.
- Ensure effective curriculum implementation and timely syllabus completion as per CBSE guidelines.
- Monitor lesson planning, classroom instruction, and assessment practices across all streams.
- Conduct classroom observations and mentor teachers to enhance instructional quality.
- Develop strategies to improve Board Examination results and overall academic performance.
- Plan and coordinate unit tests, terminal examinations, pre-board examinations, revision schedules, and remedial programmes.
- Guide departments in preparing students for competitive examinations such as JEE, NEET, CUET, CLAT, and other entrance examinations.
- Analyze academic performance data and implement improvement plans.
- Organize career guidance programmes, university counselling sessions, seminars, and subject enrichment activities.
- Coordinate parent-teacher meetings and communicate student progress effectively.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE regulations, examination procedures, and school policies.
- Prepare academic reports, documentation, and performance reviews for the Principal.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant subject with B.Ed. (Mandatory).
- M.Ed. or additional educational qualifications will be an advantage.
- 6–12 years of teaching experience in Senior Secondary classes, with at least 3 years in an academic leadership role.
- Experience in CBSE Senior Secondary curriculum and Board Examination processes is essential.
