We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations for our portfolio of hotels across South India. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the financial health, integrity, and compliance of multiple properties, providing strategic financial leadership, and driving profitability. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, local regulations, and international accounting standards.
- Oversee and manage all financial operations for multiple hotel properties within the South India region, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-range financial plans for the region, working closely with property General Managers and corporate finance.
- Review and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, providing insightful commentary and recommendations to regional and corporate management.
- Establish and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard assets, ensure data integrity, and prevent fraud across all properties.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory returns, taxes, and compliance documents in accordance with Indian regulations (GST, TDS, etc.).
- Manage cash flow effectively, optimize working capital, and oversee treasury functions for the region.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring all audit requirements are met and findings are addressed promptly.
- Provide strategic financial advice and support to regional leadership and property General Managers on operational performance, cost control, revenue optimization, and capital expenditure decisions.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of finance professionals across the various hotel properties, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Implement and monitor financial policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across the region.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
