About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Fitter to join our Maintenance team. The role involves mechanical fitting, assembly, installation, alignment, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of CNC and conventional machines. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of mechanical maintenance, measuring instruments, engineering drawings, and safe working practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble jigs, fixtures, and machine components
- perform mechanical fitting
- support machine installations and maintenance.
Required Skills
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge)
Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and assembly diagrams
Experience in alignment, levelling, and installation of machines or assemblies
Basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance—bearing replacement, lubrication, tightening torque standards
Skilled in drilling, tapping, filing, grinding, and mechanical part fitting operations
Understanding of workplace safety practices and PPE usage
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
