Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines accurately against valid prescriptions.
- Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications.
- Counsel patients regarding medication usage, dosage, storage, and possible side effects.
- Maintain adequate stock levels and ensure timely procurement of medicines.
- Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper storage of all medications.
- Maintain inventory records and prepare daily/monthly stock reports.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments for medication requirements.
- Ensure availability of emergency and lifesaving drugs at all times.
- Maintain narcotic and scheduled drug registers as per legal requirements.
- Handle billing and documentation related to pharmacy dispensing.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, Pharmacy Act, and hospital policies.
- Participate in periodic stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the pharmacy.
Eligibility
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
- Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Experience in hospital pharmacy, oncology pharmacy, or retail pharmacy will be preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of medicines and pharmacology.
- Excellent inventory and stock management skills.
- Good communication and patient counseling abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Hospital Management Systems (HMS).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
