Hedge School is seeking dedicated and professional Academic Counselors to support student engagement and programme guidance initiatives. The selected candidates will be responsible for interacting with students and parents, understanding their educational and career aspirations, and providing appropriate counselling regarding the programmes offered by the organisation.
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, relationship management, and counselling skills with the ability to create a positive and supportive experience for students and parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with students and parents to understand academic and career requirements
- Provide counselling and guidance regarding courses and programmes offered by the organisation
- Explain programme structure, benefits, career opportunities, and admission procedures
- Handle student enquiries through calls, meetings, and follow-up interactions
- Support the admission and onboarding process for enrolled students
- Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions and student interactions
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding programme updates and student support activities
- Conduct orientation sessions and awareness programmes when required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised institution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and counselling abilities
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with students and parents
- Good organisational and follow-up skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and communication tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in academic counselling, admissions, student relations, or customer relationship management is preferred
- Strong presentation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and target-oriented environment
