The Purchase Manager will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing the procurement of construction materials, MEP items, finishing materials, machinery, and project-related requirements for multiple real estate projects. The role requires ensuring timely procurement, cost optimization, quality assurance, and maintaining strong vendor relationships while supporting uninterrupted project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage procurement activities for all ongoing and upcoming real estate projects.
- Source, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, conduct comparative analysis, and negotiate the best commercial terms.
- Prepare, review, and approve Purchase Orders (POs) as per company policies.
- Coordinate with Project, Site Engineering, Stores, Accounts, and Management to understand procurement requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor material availability to avoid project delays.
- Develop annual rate contracts and negotiate long-term agreements with key suppliers.
- Control procurement costs and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Resolve vendor-related issues, delivery delays, and quality concerns.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase reports.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory requirements.
- Prepare procurement MIS reports and present procurement status to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management.
- MBA or PGDM in Supply Chain/Operations will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in procurement/purchase, with at least 2 years in the real estate or construction industry.
- Experience in procurement of civil, electrical, plumbing, finishing, and project-related materials.
Required Skills

- Excellent negotiation and cost optimization abilities.
- Sound knowledge of construction materials and procurement processes.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
