Data Analyst / Power BI DeveloperJob Overview
We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that help stakeholders make informed decisions.
The role involves working with large datasets, building interactive dashboards, performing data modeling, and translating business requirements into meaningful insights through data visualization.
The candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, and the Microsoft BI Stack, along with a solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and business intelligence technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports using Power BI.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for reporting solutions.
- Design and implement data models that transform raw data into meaningful insights.
- Use Power Query and DAX to clean, transform, and analyze data.
- Create visually compelling charts, KPIs, scorecards, and reports for business stakeholders.
- Establish Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage data access within Power BI.
- Integrate data from multiple sources and perform data transformation and data preparation.
- Monitor and optimize existing BI systems for performance and efficiency.
- Document data models, reporting logic, and business rules.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver data-driven insights.
- Analyze product, market, and operational trends to support strategic decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.
- Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL for data extraction and transformation.
- Experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query.
- Knowledge of data modeling, relational databases, and multidimensional databases.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Microsoft BI Stack (SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS).
- Familiarity with OLAP systems and database management concepts.
- Ability to create dynamic and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with data gateways and enterprise data integration projects.
- Familiarity with additional BI tools such as Oracle BI.
- Experience with MDX queries and advanced data modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of business performance monitoring and KPI development.

Pay: ₹305,285.03 - ₹480,000.00 per year
