Role Overview This hybrid role integrates the technical expertise of a Food Technologist, the rigor of a QA Specialist, and the regulatory oversight of a Trade Specialist/Inspector. The primary objective is to ensure that food products are developed with scientific integrity, manufactured to the highest quality standards, and compliant with international trade regulations for seamless global distribution.
### Key Responsibilities1. Food Technology & Product Development
- Apply scientific principles to improve food safety, flavor, and texture during the production process.
- Conduct shelf-life testing and stability analysis to ensure product integrity across global transit times.
- Manage ingredient sourcing and ensure all raw materials meet internal specifications and international food standards.
2. Quality Assurance (QA) & Food Safety
- Develop, implement, and maintain HACCP, SQF, or BRC food safety management systems.
- Lead internal audits and coordinate third-party certifications to ensure the facility meets global food safety benchmarks.
- Oversee laboratory testing (microbiological and chemical) and manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for any quality deviations.
3. Trade Compliance & Inspection
- Act as the lead Inspector for outgoing and incoming shipments, ensuring physical goods match documentation and meet the destination country’s health standards.
- Classify food products under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and manage Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) certificates.
- Ensure all labeling (nutritional facts, allergens, and country of origin) complies with the regulations of both the exporting and importing nations (e.g., FDA, EFSA).
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
