1. PGT Mathematics Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: Teach mathematics to Senior Secondary classes (XI & XII) according to CBSE, ICSE, or State board standards.
- Lesson Planning: Develop detailed lesson plans, including theory, practical problem-solving sessions, and annual academic plans.
- Board Preparation: Focus on preparing students for board exams and competitive exams (e.g., JEE) by providing specialized materials and coaching.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Set, administer, and grade tests, assignments, and examinations.
- Innovative Teaching: Utilize digital tools and interactive methods to make abstract mathematical concepts easier to understand.
- Mentorship: Mentor students for academic excellence, mathematical olympiads, or counseling.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational: Master’s Degree in Mathematics (usually 1st division) + B.Ed..
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level is often required.
- Skills: Strong analytical thinking, classroom management, and proficiency in MS Office/online teaching tools.
