We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and student-focused **PGT Economics Teacher** to teach **Classes XI and XII** as per the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should make economic concepts relevant, engaging, and practical while preparing students for academic excellence and real-world understanding.
### **Key Responsibilities**
* Teach Economics to Classes XI and XII in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
* Plan and deliver well-structured, interactive, and concept-based lessons.
* Teach Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economic Development, Statistics, and related topics effectively.
* Prepare annual lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
* Conduct regular tests, evaluate answer scripts, and provide constructive feedback to students.
* Guide students in project work, practical applications, and board examination preparation.
* Integrate current economic issues, case studies, and real-life examples into classroom teaching.
* Maintain academic records, lesson plans, student progress reports, and CBSE documentation.
* Use smart classroom technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning.
* Mentor students for competitions, seminars, debates, and career guidance related to Economics.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration to ensure students' holistic development.
### **Desired Skills**
* Strong subject knowledge of Economics and the CBSE curriculum.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
* Ability to simplify complex economic concepts through practical examples.
* Proficiency in **MS Office**, digital teaching tools, and smart classroom technology.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
* Passion for mentoring students and promoting critical thinking.
### **Qualifications**
* Postgraduate Degree (**M.A./M.Com. in Economics**) with **B.Ed.** as per CBSE norms.
* CTET/TET is not mandatory for PGT, but relevant teaching certifications are an advantage.
* Experience teaching Economics in a CBSE school, especially at the senior secondary level, will be preferred.
