Did you know that 300 tonnes of cooked food are wasted daily in Bangalore alone? ResQBag is a hyper-local food rescue startup on a mission to change that. We partner with top cafes, bakeries, and restaurants to list their premium unsold surplus food on our app at a 70% discount before closing time.
It’s a triple win: The planet gets less waste, customers get premium food at a fraction of the cost, and restaurants recover sunk costs.
The Role
We are currently in our stealth/pre-launch phase and are looking for a hungry, creative Marketing & Brand Strategy Intern.
Unlike corporate internships where you fetch coffee or do data entry, here you will be the core architect of our brand. You will literally be building our brand identity from zero. However, you will also be rewarded for exceptional work as bonus towards end of the internship and an opportunity to convert into a full time paid job.

What You Will Build (Your Portfolio Pieces)
- The ResQBag Media Kit: Design and structure the core B2B pitch deck that our sales team will use to onboard restaurants in HSR Layout and Koramangala.
- The Brand Kit: Help define our visual identity, brand voice, color palettes, and typography guidelines.
- Go-To-Market Strategy: Assist the founders in brainstorming launch campaigns and foundational social media strategies.
Who We Are Looking For
- You have a strong aesthetic eye and understand modern brand design (Canva, Figma, or Adobe Suite skills are required).
- You understand marketing psychology (e.g., how to pitch a "mystery rescue bag" to Gen-Z vs. how to pitch cost-recovery to a restaurant owner).
- You are a self-starter. We don't have an agency to hold your hand; you will have high ownership and creative freedom.
- Students in Marketing, Communications, Design, or Business are highly encouraged to apply.
