Core Responsibilities
As a vital member of our engineering department, your daily impact will involve:
- System Design & Planning: Designing low to medium-voltage power distribution systems, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection for civil structures.
- Technical Compliance: Ensuring all designs strictly adhere to local and national electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC) and safety regulations.
- Project Management: Leading the electrical lifecycle of a project from initial site assessment and feasibility studies to final commissioning.
- Collaboration: Coordinating with architects, structural engineers, and civil project managers to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into the overall project design.
- Technical Documentation: Preparing detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities), technical specifications, and tender documents.
- Supervision: Mentoring junior engineers and conducting on-site inspections to ensure contractors follow design specifications and safety protocols.
