Space One Artisan Studio is the in-house furniture manufacturing division of Minus Studio, specializing in high-quality custom furniture and interior production. We focus on precision, craftsmanship, and timely project execution. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to strengthen our procurement and vendor management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure raw materials such as plywood, MDF, veneers, laminates, hardware, upholstery materials, and finishing supplies as per production schedules.
- Coordinate closely with production, design, and project teams to understand material specifications and project timelines.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing, quality standards, and timely delivery.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders; track deliveries to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores to maintain optimal inventory.
- Compare quotations, prepare cost analysis reports, and support cost-control initiatives.
- Ensure proper GST compliance and accurate purchase documentation.
- Maintain vendor database and conduct periodic performance reviews.
- Work closely with the accounts team for invoice verification and reconciliation.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Tally (purchase entries, GST entries, vendor account management)
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, cost sheets, comparison statements, reporting)
- Sound understanding of GST regulations and purchase compliance
- Experience in Purchasing and Vendor Management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Basic understanding of furniture manufacturing materials (preferred)
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Business / Supply Chain or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in purchase/procurement (Furniture or Interior industry preferred)
- Experience in manufacturing or factory-based procurement will be an advantage
