About the Role
We're hiring a Quality Head to lead quality assurance and control for our aluminium die casting (HPDC) manufacturing operation. You'll own the full quality function — from ISO documentation and process compliance to day-to-day defect resolution and customer complaint closure — ensuring consistent, high-quality output on the shop floor.
What You'll Own
- ISO Documentation & Compliance: Maintain and drive adherence to ISO quality documentation and process standards across the plant
- HPDC Process Quality: Apply hands-on High Pressure Die Casting process knowledge to identify and resolve quality issues at the source
- Customer Complaint Resolution: Handle customer complaints end-to-end and drive ongoing, sustainable fixes — not one-off patches
- Day-to-Day Quality Control: Monitor daily quality concerns on the shop floor and act on them promptly
- Continuous Improvement: Drive 5S, Kaizen, and quality tool implementation across the plant to reduce defects and improve process consistency
What We're Looking For
- DET (Diploma in Engineering) or BE Mechanical; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 6 years of total work experience, preferably in quality roles within die casting or metal component manufacturing
- Strong working knowledge of HPDC (High Pressure Die Casting) processes
- Excellent knowledge of ISO documentation and quality management systems
- Practical experience with 5S, Kaizen, and core quality tools (e.g., root-cause analysis, 8D, SPC)
- Proven track record of handling customer complaints and driving corrective/preventive actions
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working on the shop floor daily
