An Online Sales Executive drives digital revenue by managing e-commerce platforms, nurturing inbound leads, and closing sales via chat, email, or video calls. They are responsible for product listings, pipeline management, and converting prospects into paying customers while ensuring high satisfaction.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead Management & Conversion: Respond to inbound inquiries, website chats, and social media DMs to qualify leads and close deals.
- B2B Portal Maintenance: Manage profiles and catalogs on e-commerce platforms like IndiaMART, GEM, or company websites.
- Sales Pipeline Tracking: Track all interactions, follow-ups, and sales stages using CRM software or digital trackers.
- Product & Content Optimization: Collaborate with marketing to update product descriptions, images, and pricing to improve visibility.
- Client Consultation: Conduct product demos, present solutions, and address customer objections virtually.
Key Skills Required
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills to articulate value quickly over text and calls.
- Digital Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), social media, and B2B/B2C marketplaces.
