Job Purpose
To ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all employees, contractors, visitors, and the public by implementing and monitoring HSE policies and statutory safety requirements across road construction projects, while promoting a proactive safety culture and preventing workplace incidents.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesPlanning & Compliance
- Develop and implement site-specific HSE plans.
- Ensure compliance with client, statutory, and company safety requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments (HIRA/JSA) before commencement of work.
- Ensure all required permits are obtained before hazardous activities.
Site Safety Monitoring
- Conduct routine site inspections and safety audits.
- Identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.
- Recommend and verify corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor high-risk activities such as excavation, lifting operations, work at height, and electrical work.
Traffic & Public Safety
- Ensure proper traffic diversion and traffic management plans.
- Verify installation of barricades, warning signs, reflectors, and lighting.
- Maintain pedestrian and public safety around the work zone.
Training & Awareness
- Conduct induction training for new employees and contractors.
- Deliver daily toolbox talks.
- Organize periodic safety awareness campaigns and mock drills.
Incident Management
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Prepare incident reports with root cause analysis.
- Track closure of corrective actions.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
