Role:
Responsible to perform Product development engineer task in the Screens and Centrifuge product line. These activities may be part of a Project work or development work. The responsibilities include the execution of a complete project consisting of all mechanical aspects of equipment along which includes on time, on budget, to specification and with quality.
Your responsibilities
As a Product development engineer, he/she shall involve in the product development and performance of the products to ensure that they are functioning according to quality and cost expectations. Applying mechanical engineering principles to develop products (e.g., Vibrating screens, Vibrating feeders, Centrifuges, etc.,)
Develops drawings and models to support product development activities and projects.
• Assists engineers in preparing layout and design• Interprets and understands drawings
- Applies knowledge and seek clarification in complex design
- Takes part in order execution
- Carries out activities with SolidWorks, AutoCAD and any PLM software (Enovia is preferred).
- Prepares Bills of Material and part list
- Should be conversant with MS office and PDM systems
- Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities
What you bring
To qualify for this position, you must have as a minimum, the following qualifications and experience
- Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and PLM systems (preferably Enovia).
- Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and global quality standards.
- Capable of collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams to develop effective solutions to problems or design challenges.
- Prior experience with vibrating equipment is highly desirable.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a reputed university.
- Experience: Over 3+ years of experience in designing industrial equipment.
