Job Summary The Telecaller is responsible for contacting prospective students, responding to inquiries, generating appointments, and supporting the admissions process. The role requires excellent communication skills, follow-up abilities, and maintaining positive relationships with potential students. Key Responsibilities Lead Management Call prospective students from assigned leads. Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally. Explain courses, certifications, fees, and career opportunities. Qualify leads and identify student requirements. Schedule counseling sessions and campus visits. Follow-Up & Conversion Support Conduct regular follow-ups with interested candidates. Maintain accurate records of all interactions in CRM/software. Coordinate with Academic Counselors for lead conversion. Track application and admission status of prospects. Re-engage inactive or old leads. Student Support Respond to student inquiries through calls, WhatsApp, and email. Provide accurate information regarding courses and admissions. Resolve basic queries and escalate complex issues when required. Ensure a positive student experience throughout the inquiry process. Data Management Update lead status and remarks daily. Maintain student database and inquiry records. Generate daily call reports and performance updates. Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality. Target Achievement Meet daily, weekly, and monthly calling targets. Achieve appointment and admission conversion goals. Contribute to overall enrollment targets of the institution. Qualifications Plus Two / Degree in any discipline. Freshers can apply. Experience in telecalling, customer service, or admissions is preferred. Skills Required Excellent Communication Skills (Malayalam and English) Basic Computer Knowledge MS Office and CRM Usage Persuasion and Negotiation Skills Active Listening Time Management Customer Relationship Management Experience Freshers to 2 years of experience. Experience in educational institutions, training centers, or BPOs is an added advantage.
