Job Overview
We are looking for a enthusiastic, customer-focused Waiter / Waitress with at least 1 year of experience in food service or hospitality. You will be responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience, taking accurate orders, maintaining clean dining areas, and ensuring guest satisfaction from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Service & Order Taking:
- Welcome guests warmly, present menus, and answer questions regarding food and beverage options.
- Suggest house specialties, daily offers, and answer dietary or allergy inquiries accurately.
- Take clear, accurate food and drink orders using the POS system or order pads.
- Service Delivery:
- Serve food and beverages promptly to tables following proper presentation standards.
- Check in on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and clear empty plates or glasses.
- Process bill payments accurately via cash, cards, or mobile wallets.
- Operations & Cleanliness:
- Prepare tables before service (setting up cutlery, napkins, condiments, and sanitizing surfaces).
- Maintain clean, organized dining room areas and service stations throughout the shift.
- Assist with opening and closing restaurant duties as assigned.
- Teamwork & Communication:
- Communicate order modifications or special requests directly to kitchen and bar staff.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and managers to maintain smooth floor operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of proven experience as a Waiter, Waitress, or Server in a restaurant, café, or hotel setup.
- Skills: Strong communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Languages: Good command of Malayalam and basic conversational English (Hindi is a plus).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift service trays safely.
- Proficiency: Familiarity with basic POS billing systems and cash handling.
- Punctuality: Strong sense of discipline, hygiene, and neat personal grooming.
Pay: From ₹16,000.00 per month
