Job Description / Work Details:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Fire Fighting Supervisor to oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fire protection and suppression systems. The ideal candidate will manage on-site teams, ensure compliance with safety standards, and execute projects within the given timeline.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Site Supervision & Execution: Supervise the day-to-day installation of various fire fighting systems, including fire hydrant systems, sprinkler systems, Medium Velocity Water Spray (MVWS) systems, and automatic fire detection/suppression systems.
- Team & Resource Management: Manage daily manpower allocation, mobilize workers, and ensure that site teams are equipped with the necessary tools, tackles, and materials.
- Progress Tracking: Maintain daily/weekly work schedules, monitor project milestones, and ensure the work progresses as per the approved drawings and technical specifications.
- Quality & Compliance: Inspect the quality of workmanship and ensure all installations comply with relevant NFPA, NBC, and local fire safety norms.
- Safety & HSE Management: Enforce strict safety protocols on-site, conduct tool-box talks, and ensure all workers use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to achieve a zero-accident workplace.
- Testing & Commissioning: Oversee hydro-testing of pipelines, flushing, and the final testing/commissioning of fire pumps and suppression systems in coordination with clients or external auditors.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare site visit reports, daily progress reports (DPR), and maintain Excel-based work schedules (tracking Sr. No., Work Details, Start/End Dates, and Remarks) for management review.
- Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate closely with clients, project managers, and internal departments (such as electrical and civil teams) to resolve site clearance issues and ensure smooth project execution.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
