Role Overview
We are looking for a Delivery Head to lead end-to-end delivery of our B2B product platform across product development, customer customizations, implementation, deployment, and rollout.
The role will be responsible for ensuring successful execution from:
- customer requirement gathering
- development coordination
- testing and release
- deployment and go-live
- post-deployment stabilization
The ideal candidate should have strong operational ownership, implementation discipline, and the ability to coordinate between customers, support teams, developers, and management.
This is a hands-on execution leadership role in a fast-growing B2B product company.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Delivery Ownership
- Own complete delivery lifecycle for product features, customer customizations, implementations, and deployments
- Ensure successful execution from requirement stage to production rollout and stabilization
- Track delivery timelines, dependencies, risks, and implementation status
Requirement & Scope Management
- Work with customers, support teams, and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements
- Validate and document customer requirements before development begins
- Ensure proper scope definition for features, change requests, and customizations
- Prevent incomplete or unclear requirements from reaching development teams
Development Coordination
- Coordinate with development teams for execution planning and delivery tracking
- Prioritize tasks based on business urgency and delivery commitments
- Monitor progress of:
- product features
- bug fixes
- customer customizations
- change requests
- Ensure development deliverables are completed within agreed timelines
Testing & Release Coordination
- Coordinate with QA/testing teams for validation and release readiness
- Ensure fixes and features are properly tested before deployment
- Manage UAT coordination and customer sign-offs
- Coordinate release schedules and deployment planning
Customer Implementation & Deployment
- Manage onboarding, deployment, and go-live activities for customers
- Coordinate implementation activities between customer teams and internal teams
- Ensure smooth deployment and post-go-live stabilization
- Monitor customer delivery status and implementation progress
Escalation & Delivery Governance
- Handle delivery escalations and operational blockers
- Ensure accountability across support, implementation, and development teams
- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure closure of pending items
- Maintain visibility of project status, delays, and operational risks
Process & Operational Management
- Help establish and enforce delivery processes and operational workflows
- Improve coordination between support, development, and customer-facing teams
- Maintain implementation and delivery documentation
- Identify operational bottlenecks and improve execution efficiency
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in software delivery, implementation management, project delivery, or product operations
- Strong coordination and execution management capability
- Experience managing software deployments and customer implementations
- Ability to coordinate across development, support, QA, and customer teams
- Strong follow-up and accountability mindset
- Good communication and requirement understanding capability
- Ability to work in fast-moving operational environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B product companies
- Experience handling customer deployments and enterprise implementations
- ERP or manufacturing software experience is an added advantage
- Familiarity with ticketing, project tracking, and delivery management tools
