Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Abroad Study Consultant to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students, recommending suitable overseas study options, handling student enquiries, and supporting them throughout the admission process.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding overseas education opportunities.
- Understand students' academic background, career goals, and study preferences.
- Recommend suitable countries, universities, courses, and study pathways.
- Provide accurate information regarding admission requirements, tuition fees, intakes, scholarships, and career opportunities.
- Handle enquiries through calls, walk-ins, online enquiries, and referrals.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into applications and enrolments.
- Assist students with the university/college application process and required documentation.
- Coordinate with the admissions and visa processing teams.
- Maintain accurate and updated student information and follow-ups in the CRM.
- Achieve individual and team counselling and conversion targets.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, webinars, and other student engagement activities.
- Maintain updated knowledge of overseas education, admission requirements, and relevant visa regulations.
- Prepare and maintain regular reports on enquiries, applications, offers, and conversions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counselling, convincing, and follow-up skills.
- Good knowledge of overseas education destinations and admission processes.
- Previous experience in overseas education counselling or student recruitment is preferred.
- Experience with New Zealand, Australia, UK, Europe, or other major study destinations will be an advantage.
- Good computer and CRM skills.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
