- Experienced Public Relations Officer with 1 year of experience in the healthcare industry, providing excellent patient support and building strong relationships with doctors and referral partners.
Job Summary
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for maintaining positive relationships with patients, attendants, doctors, corporate clients, government organizations, insurance companies, and the public. The PRO ensures excellent patient experience, coordinates promotional activities, and enhances the hospital's reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients and visitors.
- Coordinate with doctors and departments for smooth patient services.
- Handle patient feedback, complaints, and ensure timely resolution.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate companies, TPAs, insurance providers, and referral doctors.
- Organize health camps, awareness programs, and promotional events.
- Promote hospital services through community outreach.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for branding and promotional activities.
- Maintain records of referrals, patient enquiries, and corporate visits.
- Support social media, website, and publicity initiatives.
- Liaise with government departments when required.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports.
- Ensure high standards of patient satisfaction and customer service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA in Hospital Administration/Marketing preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in hospital public relations, marketing, or customer service.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service and problem-solving ability.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Fluency in Tamil and English (Hindi is an added advantage).
Working Hours
- As per hospital policy, including rotational shifts if required.
