- Site Surveillance: Conduct daily inspections of underground tunnels, cross-passages, and station shafts to detect unsafe conditions.
- Permit Compliance: Verify and enforce Permit-to-Work (PTW) protocols for high-risk tasks like confined space entry, hot work, and heavy lifting.
- Worker Briefings: Lead mandatory daily Toolbox Talks (TBT) and safety induction sessions for site laborers and operators.
- Gas Monitoring: Assist in checking atmospheric conditions, ventilation systems, and gas levels inside underground construction zones.
- PPE Enforcement: Ensure 100% compliance with standard and specialized underground Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Incident Reporting: Document near-misses, unsafe acts, and hazards. Assist senior safety management in root-cause investigations.
- Emergency Response: Help maintain emergency escape routes, rescue signage, and refuge chambers within the underground network.
B.E. / B.Tech with experience in TBM is Mandatory
