Medical Representative (MR) – Dermatology Division Core Job Responsibilities
- Doctor Coverage & Relationship Building
- Visit dermatologists, cosmetologists, pediatricians, and GP clinics as per daily call schedule.
- Build long-term professional relationships with key prescribers.
- Maintain regular follow-up with high-potential doctors and clinics.
- Product Promotion
- Promote dermatology products such as antifungals, acne range, moisturizers, sunscreens, steroids, hair care, and cosmetic dermatology products.
- Explain product composition, indications, advantages, clinical data, and differentiation versus competitors.
- Conduct effective visual aid presentations during doctor calls.
- Prescription Generation
- Generate and increase prescriptions from dermatologists and skin clinics.
- Ensure repeat prescriptions through regular follow-ups and feedback collection.
- Focus on conversion of competitor brands to company brands.
- Clinic & Chemist Coordination
- Coordinate with nearby chemists to ensure product availability.
- Monitor secondary sales and stock movement.
- Resolve stock issues through distributors/stockists.
- Sampling & Inputs Management
- Distribute product samples, literature, reminder cards, and patient education material.
- Ensure proper utilization of samples for trial generation.
- Maintain records of sample distribution as per compliance norms.
- Market Intelligence
- Track competitor activities, new launches, schemes, and pricing.
- Collect market feedback regarding product acceptance and doctor preferences.
- Share dermatologist prescription trends and market insights with management.
- Sales Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly and quarterly primary and secondary sales targets.
- Increase territory coverage and productivity.
- Execute company strategies to improve territory performance.
- Territory Management
- Prepare daily work plans (DWR) and monthly tour plans (MTP).
- Segment doctors based on potential (A/B/C category).
- Optimize route planning for efficient field coverage.
- CME & Promotional Activities
- Organize CMEs, clinic meetings, and small group doctor interactions.
- Assist in conducting product launches and dermatologist engagement programs.
- Coordinate local promotional campaigns and patient awareness activities.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Submit daily call reports, expense statements, and sales reports on time.
- Maintain compliance with pharma marketing guidelines.
- Keep updated records of doctor lists, prescriptions, and retailer feedback.
NOTE: Experience in dermatology section is a must and minimum experience required is of 2 years.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
