Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have experience in software quality assurance, manual testing, API testing, and defect tracking. You will play a key role in ensuring software quality by identifying issues, validating fixes, and collaborating with development teams throughout the software lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
- Validate bug fixes and maintain accurate testing documentation.
- Ensure software meets quality standards before product releases.
Required Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing and defect tracking tools.
- Experience in API testing using Postman.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
