We are hiring an *experienced Merchandiser – Bedding* for a leading home textile manufacturing company based in Thane.
Location:* Wagle Estate, Thane (West)
CTC:* ₹5–6 LPA
Working Hours:* 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (IST)
Working Days:* Monday to Saturday (Sunday Off)
Key Responsibilities
* Develop bedding collections in collaboration with the design team.
* Source fabrics and raw materials while ensuring quality, cost, and sustainability.
* Manage product development, sampling, and launch timelines.
* Plan product assortments, SKUs, and seasonal ranges.
* Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends.
* Prepare product costing, negotiate pricing, and achieve target margins.
* Coordinate purchase orders, production, and on-time deliveries.
* Ensure quality control and final inspection before dispatch.
* Monitor inventory and plan replenishment based on sales forecasts.
* Build and manage vendor relationships while identifying new sourcing opportunities.
* Analyse sales performance and recommend improvements.
* Coordinate with design, marketing, buyers, vendors, and internal stakeholders for smooth execution.
Eligibility
* Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred institutes: DKTE, NIFT, or equivalent).
* Experience in merchandising or production within the Bedding/Home Textile industry.
* Strong knowledge of bedding products, constructions, fillings, finishes, sizing, and packaging.
* Experience in quality control and bedding product testing.
* Understanding of domestic and international quality and compliance standards.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, coordination, and vendor management skills.
* Knowledge of global sourcing and import/export regulations will be an added advantage.
Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
