Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled VMC Programmer with Operator to join our team at Bunty Enterprises. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming and operating VMC (Vertical Machining Center), . This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong programming skills and hands-on experience in VMC operation to ensure precision and quality in machining.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming: Create, modify, and optimize VMC programs using Mastercam software for efficient machining operations.
- Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and manage VMC (Machine: VL850) with Mitsubishi controllers, ensuring smooth and precise operation.
- Tool Setup & Calibration: Select appropriate tools, set up tooling, and perform calibration to achieve desired accuracy and precision.
- Quality Control: Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any programming or operational issues that may arise during machining.
- Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on the VMC machine to ensure its proper functioning and longevity.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machining programs, tool usage, and maintenance activities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure efficient production processes and timely completion of projects.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in VMC programming
- Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Dellcam (2010 version) for programming.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.
- Education: Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering
- Skills: Detail-oriented, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently.
- Machine Type: VL850 with Mitsubishi Controller.
