Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated, full-time AI Film Editor to work on-site at our studio. You will be responsible for editing, scoring, and pacing long-form content, including feature films (30–100 minutes) and episodic web series.
You will step into the production pipeline right after our AI artists generate visual shot assets and our director approves the overall direction. In addition to primary video assembly in Adobe Premiere Pro, you will generate and integrate dialogue using ElevenLabs and custom scores using Suno.com. Your core objective is to take synthetic visual and audio elements and build long-form, immersive storytelling that keeps audiences hooked across entire feature runtimes and episode arcs.
Work Setup
- Job Type: Full-time
- Location: On-site (Office-based)
- Project Scope: Feature Films (30–100 min) & Web Series
Key Responsibilities
- Long-Form Assembly & Pacing: Import, structure, and edit multi-scene sequences, episodes, and full-length feature films in Premiere Pro using director-approved assets and scripts.
- Audio & Dialogue Production: Generate character voiceovers and dialogue lines via ElevenLabs; fine-tune voice performance, timing, and pitch to match on-screen lip movements and character beats.
- Score & Soundtrack Generation: Prompt and generate original musical themes, ambient tracks, and cinematic scores using Suno.com; edit and arrange stems to elevate key narrative beats and scene transitions.
- Motion Stabilization & Artifact Clean-up: Apply speed adjustments, optical flow, frame interpolation, and visual masking to eliminate AI jitter, morphing, and frame-rate inconsistencies across long project timelines.
- Sound Design & Mix: Layer ElevenLabs dialogue, Suno music, and Foley/SFX to build a balanced, broadcast-ready audio mix directly within Premiere Pro.
- Timeline & Asset Organization: Maintain immaculate timeline structures, bin setups, sequence naming conventions, and file management across massive, multi-gigabyte project files.
Key Qualifications
- Premiere Pro Long-Form Experience: Proven experience editing long-form video projects (features, short films, docuseries, YouTube, or web series) using Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Full fluency in understanding and editing scripts, voiceovers, and dialogue in both Hindi and English to ensure natural phrasing, emotion, and lip-sync accuracy.
- Narrative Pacing & Continuity: Exceptional understanding of long-form narrative structure, character arcs, visual continuity, and emotional timing.
- Technical Rigor: Deep knowledge of multi-track timeline management, proxies, color space workflows, audio mixing techniques, and final delivery formats for features and episodic content.
Nice-to-Haves
- Prompt Engineering Skills: Ability to write, refine, and iterate precise prompts for AI text, voice, and music generators to rapidly get the exact creative outputs needed.
- Short Film Background: Experience editing narrative short films, showing a strong grasp of concise storytelling, tight cuts, and scene economy.
- After Effects Proficiency: Basic working knowledge of After Effects for minor paint-outs, object tracking, or visual clean-up.
- AI Visual Pipeline Familiarity: General understanding of AI video generation tools to speak the language of our in-house visual artist team.
