About the RoleWe are forming a new dynamic Rooftop Solar Sales Team in Bangalore and are looking for energetic, technically sound, and business-driven Solar Sales Engineers (Male/Female). The selected candidates will play a key role in developing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving sales growth in the renewable energy segment with a focus on commercial, industrial, hospitality, and residential rooftop solar solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business leads for rooftop solar installations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, architects, builders, industries, and hospitality clients.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain solar energy products and solutions.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal design and technical teams for proposal development and costing.
- Negotiate and close contracts effectively.
Technical Understanding & Project Evaluation
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for solar rooftop installations.
- Generate and interpret PV system performance reports and yield assessments.
- Recommend appropriate inverter technologies, panel configurations, and structural support systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant technical standards and safety norms.
Market & Product Knowledge
- Stay updated with latest solar technologies, market trends, and government policies.
- Develop strategies to enhance company visibility in the solar domain.
Travel & Representation
- Be willing to travel across India and internationally, as required, for client meetings, project evaluations, and business expansions.
Qualifications & ExperienceSenior Solar Sales Engineer
- Experience: 68 years in Solar Rooftop Sales or Solar EPC environment.
- Education: B.E/B.Tech (Electrical/Mechanical/Energy/EEE) or equivalent.
- Proven track record in business development and project closure in solar domain.
- Excellent client networking and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of PV system design, technical reports, and costing.
- Leadership ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
Junior Solar Sales Engineer
- Experience: 23 years in Solar Sales or Technical Pre-Sales.
- Education: B.E/B.Tech (Electrical/Mechanical/Energy/EEE) or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of PV systems, structural considerations, and site assessments.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
