Job Title: Logistics ExecutiveDepartment: Supply Chain / Logistics Location: Manufacturing Unit Reporting To: Logistics Manager / Supply Chain ManagerPurpose of the Role: To plan, coordinate, and manage logistics operations for the movement of finished goods and raw materials while ensuring efficient utilization and maintenance of the company fleet. The role focuses on ensuring timely deliveries, cost-effective transportation, regulatory compliance, and smooth coordination between production, dispatch, transporters, and customers.Key ResponsibilitiesLogistics Planning & Dispatch
- Plan and coordinate the transportation of finished goods from manufacturing plants to customer locations.
- Work closely with production and dispatch teams to schedule vehicle availability for timely dispatch of materials.
- Ensure efficient route planning and optimal utilization of company vehicles.
Fleet Management
- Monitor and manage the company fleet to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
- Coordinate regular maintenance, servicing, and documentation of company vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements under RTA and the Central Motor Vehicle Act.
Transporter Management
- Identify and coordinate with external transporters to arrange additional vehicles when required.
- Negotiate freight rates and service terms with transport vendors.
- Monitor transporter performance to ensure timely and safe deliveries.
Inbound Logistics
- Arrange transportation for raw material inward movement across plant locations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and transporters to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
Customer & Delivery Coordination
- Track shipments and follow up with transporters to ensure on-time delivery.
- Handle customer communication and resolve issues related to delivery delays or transportation concerns.
Billing & Documentation
- Verify transportation bills and supporting documents.
- Coordinate certification and process transportation bills for payment.
- Maintain proper documentation related to dispatches, vehicle movement, and transporter invoices.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Monitor and prevent pilferage, damage, or loss of materials during transit.
- Address and resolve disputes related to transportation, taxes, or delivery issues.
Warehouse & Depot Coordination
- Ensure availability of manpower for loading and unloading at depots, warehouses, and godowns.
- Coordinate with depot staff for smooth handling of goods.

Preferred Qualifications
