Job Role and Responsibilities:
- Safety Inbox Management & Coaching
- Review and manage the Samsara Safety Inbox under the Safety tab daily.
- Review all triggered safety events and determine proper classification, including: o Needs Review
- Coaching Required Resolved Events
- Conduct first-round coaching with technicians on identified safety events.
- Escalate recurring or severe safety concerns to leadership when necessary.
- Track common safety trends and provide recommendations for corrective actions and training opportunities.
- Ensure timely closure and documentation of all coaching events. B.
- Technician Schedule & Time Verification Enter and maintain technician schedules within Samsara for accurate reporting and visibility.
- Compare active GPS movement against scheduled work hours when concerns arise regarding attendance or productivity.
- Investigate discrepancies between scheduled shifts and active work performed. Provide reporting and escalation on attendance concerns or repeated time management issues.
- Reporting & Compliance Monitoring Conduct ongoing deep dives into Samsara reporting to identify operational gaps and compliance concerns.
- Monitor technician engagement and system usage to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Support leadership with operational data, trend analysis, and accountability reporting.
- Assist in creating standardized processes and reporting structures for field operations. II. Future Program Responsibilities (Additional responsibilities to be implemented as Samsara usage and reporting maturity increase.)
- A. Daily DVIR Tracking Monitor technician Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) compliance.
- Verify that all technicians working active shifts complete: ▪ Pre-trip inspections ▪ Post-trip inspections Identify missed DVIRs and escalate non-compliance to leadership.
- Track trends in missed or incomplete inspections.
- B. Training Completion Tracking Monitor week-over-week technician training completion through Samsara Training. Under training tab - Dashboard Review and track:
- Completion Scores o Past Due Training Scores
- Outstanding Training Assignments Escalate overdue or incomplete training items to field leadership.
- Support coaching and follow-up efforts to improve overall training compliance.
- Additional Focus Areas Camera health monitoring Blocked camera tracking Safety trend reporting Technician accountability initiatives Compliance improvement initiatives
- Standardization of coaching practices Data collection and reporting improvements
- Reduction in repeat safety events Improved technician coaching completion rates Increased DVIR compliance Improved training completion percentages Improved technician schedule accountability Increased Samsara engagement and reporting accuracy Reduction in unresolved safety events
Job Requirements:
- Excellent Communication Skills
