- Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience in a Medical College.
Job Summary
The Tutor – Medical Biochemistry will assist in undergraduate teaching, practical demonstrations, laboratory activities, student assessment, and departmental academic functions. The role involves supporting faculty members in delivering quality medical education and maintaining departmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct practical demonstrations, tutorials, and small-group teaching sessions for MBBS students.
- Assist faculty members in theory lectures and academic activities.
- Guide students during laboratory practicals and biochemical investigations.
- Prepare teaching materials, presentations, practical manuals, and question banks.
- Assist in conducting internal assessments, examinations, and viva voce.
- Maintain laboratory records, stock registers, and departmental documentation.
- Support NMC, MUHS, and institutional compliance requirements.
- Mentor students and provide academic guidance.
- Participate in departmental research activities, seminars, CME programs, and workshops.
- Ensure proper maintenance and safe utilization of laboratory equipment and reagents.
