Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Manager to lead and manage the organization’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality systems, ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards, monitoring product quality, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing and operational processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure products and processes comply with customer specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Manage and supervise QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and quality technicians.
- Plan and conduct incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections.
- Monitor production quality and identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Handle customer complaints, quality issues, and customer audit requirements.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, purchase, and other departments to resolve quality-related concerns.
- Prepare and maintain quality reports, inspection records, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and other quality documentation.
- Monitor key quality performance indicators such as rejection rate, rework, scrap, customer complaints, and process capability.
- Conduct internal quality audits and support external/customer audits.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality standards.
- Review and approve inspection plans, quality procedures, control plans, and work instructions.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of measuring and testing instruments.
- Drive continuous improvement activities using quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and SPC.
- Conduct quality training and awareness programs for employees.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding supplier quality issues and corrective actions.
- Present quality performance reports and improvement plans to management.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and Quality Management Systems.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, machining, or relevant industrial environments.
- Good understanding of ISO 9001, internal audits, customer audits, and quality documentation.
- Knowledge of quality tools such as RCA, CAPA, 8D, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, and 7 QC Tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Good leadership and team-management abilities.
- Ability to handle customer quality requirements and resolve quality concerns.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and quality reporting tools.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in ISO 9001 Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor is preferred.
- Experience in handling customer audits and supplier quality management will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 will be preferred for automotive manufacturing roles.

- Reduction in rejection, scrap, and rework rates.
- Improvement in first-pass yield and process quality.
- Timely closure of customer complaints and NCRs.
- Successful completion of internal and external audits.
- Reduction in customer quality issues and warranty claims.
- Timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
