Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Tool Room Engineer with 5+ years of experience in the Automobile/Automotive industry. The candidate will be responsible for tool manufacturing, maintenance, repair, modification, and troubleshooting of dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and production tooling to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and achieve quality, productivity, and delivery targets.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Tool Room Operations and Maintenance.
- Experience in Press Tools, Dies, Molds, Jigs, Fixtures, and Gauges.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Knowledge of CNC Machines, Milling, Grinding, EDM, Wire Cut, and Lathe Operations.
- Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes and quality systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S practices.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in an Automobile/Automotive Manufacturing environment.
