Job Summary
The Assistant Professor in the MBA Department will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, mentoring students, contributing to academic development, and supporting departmental activities. The candidate should possess strong subject knowledge in management disciplines and demonstrate commitment towards academic excellence, research, and institutional growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures for MBA students as per university curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessment methods.
- Conduct internal assessments, evaluations, and examinations.
- Maintain student attendance and academic records.
- Guide students in projects, internships, seminars, and research activities.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies and technology-enabled learning.
Research & Development
- Publish research papers in reputed journals/conferences.
- Participate in FDPs, workshops, seminars, and academic activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic enrichment programs.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Participate in departmental meetings and institutional committees.
- Coordinate academic events, industrial visits, guest lectures, and workshops.
- Support admission, placement, accreditation, and university-related activities.
- Maintain discipline and professional ethics within the department.
Industry Interaction
- Build industry connections for internships and placements.
- Organize guest sessions with industry experts.
- Encourage practical and case-study-based learning.
Eligibility CriteriaEducational Qualification
- MBA with specialization in HR / Finance / Marketing / Operations / Business Analytics or relevant discipline.
- NET / SET / PhD preferred as per AICTE/UGC norms.
Experience
- Freshers or experienced candidates can apply.
- Prior teaching experience in MBA institutions is preferred.
