Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with DGMS regulations, mine safety standards, and company safety policies.
- Conduct workplace safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
- Monitor PPE usage and safe work practices across mining operations.
- Carry out periodic vehicle and heavy equipment safety inspections to ensure DGMS compliance and operational safety.
- Maintain records of vehicle inspections, fitness checks, permits, and corrective actions.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss events, and recommend corrective measures.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
- Monitor emergency preparedness and support implementation of safety management systems.
- Maintain safety reports, statutory records, and compliance documentation.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
