Education: ITI / Diploma in Welding / Mechanical

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Welder with strong expertise in fabrication and welding processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding, along with the ability to work on sheet metal structures, frames, and mechanical assemblies used in automation and robotics systems.
Purpose of the Job:
- Execute high-quality welding and fabrication work for new and existing products.
- Support manufacturing and assembly teams in building robust mechanical structures.
- Ensure durability, strength, and precision in welded components used in automation systems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication layouts, and welding symbols.
- Fabricate and assemble metal components such as frames, structures, brackets, and enclosures.
- Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and surface cleaning prior to welding.
- Ensure proper alignment, fit-up, and dimensional accuracy before welding.
- Inspect weld quality and perform rework or repairs if required.
- Work closely with design and production teams for fabrication feasibility.
- Handle sheet metal welding and structural fabrication for automation equipment.
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper usage of tools and consumables.
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE guidelines during operations.
- Support installation and on-site fabrication if required.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and weld symbols.
- Experience in fabrication of sheet metal and structural components.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, joints, and material behavior (MS, SS, Aluminum).
- Familiarity with tools like grinder, cutting machines, and measuring instruments.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor practices.
- Ability to ensure quality, strength, and finish of welds.
